Okay, so, this has been a crazy and prolific week, and I need to warn you guys about some of the content of this new batch of scans.
First of all, there is some incredibly explicit sexual content. If this makes you uncomfortable, please, for the love of god do not click on the cut. If you don't give a crap one way or the other or simply aren't interested in reading about sex or sex-related musings (or a cartoon drawing of a penis, or a Degas painting of a naked lady) but still want to peruse the rest of the scans, I've included a second cut so you can skip the unsavoury bits. Heehee, am so very accommodating. (If you like that sort of thing, however, I will say that it's pretty hot and reads rather like a sex novel.)
Also, I feel it is my duty to inform any potential readers/viewers that my journal tends toward vibrant colours, bad jokes, song lyrics, and me being a bit of an idiot. Or pretentious. Or very silly. And I oscillate between compulsive political correctness and violent political incorrectness. Did I mention that I'm insane? Yah...
Anyhow, enough of my babbling:
( salacious bits included. )
or,
( don't worry, nothing the kiddies can't read (i think). )
Did you catch the allusion to
embodiment? It's got a red rectangle around it, if you need a hint/didn't feel like reading all that junk.

If we've been friends for a while, chances are good that you saw last summer's crazy cookie-baking adventure/picspam. (If you missed it, it's here.) That was great, but I didn't want to simply do the same thing over again, so I changed it up a bit.
Yes, my pictures suck. I modified them in MS Paint. I do have Photoshop and am perfectly competent with it. These are supposed to be silly.
Enjoy.

A few worthy scans from the past week. I lost a little bit of momentum... But I'm gaining it back. :) It was my first week of work, so I was still adjusting to my schedule. Hopefully, I'll pick back up.

Got to remember to change those intros for my personal journal. :|

...What is wrong with me?
In other news, I never mentioned that I managed A grades in World Religions and Global Issues and a B+ in Japanese. Yay doing well in college courses!
Last night was the most fun I'd had since... Well, the night before, to be perfectly honest. The not going home thing is kickass. But anyway, last night was totally cool; a bunch of bands composed of high school & college kids played a show at Liliana's. I took some Polaroids to mark the occasion, a la:

Hey, kids. Some of you probably already saw this over @
embodiment, but for those who haven't, here are some scans of my journal. Haven't posted scans in a month, and it was an especially productive month, so this selection is pretty darn long. Hopefully, it's filled with goodness... I guess I have to warn for sex talk (nothing very graphic), underage drinking, brief bouts of depression, invisible friends, and the fact that I'm sort of insane.
The title of my current journal (the later scans) is today is the last ordinary day//welcome to drowning creek baptist church.
Without further ado, ( voila )

I haven't posted journal stuffs in a while, oops. ^^ Nevertheless, I have been busy. I am over halfway through with the year's seventh book, which I hope to finish exactly on 31 December, unless I get super-motivated and manage to get another whole book done by that date. Coincidentally, New Year's Eve is also my birthday, making it a double milestone. (I'm turning 18.) I'm soooo glad I participated in this project; I now have a rich chronicle of my 18th year, which will well serve my future biographers, in case I win an Oscar or a Pulitzer or a Nobel Prize or something. (Haha.)
Here are a few recent scans. Enjoy.

Oh, gorgeous day. Um, Georgia State/AP Art days tend to help me feel a lot better because when I am that caught up in what is going on at the moment I don't have time to worry about what's going to happen the next moment. (Today we had a guest speaker on international law in Global Issues, which was interesting. And I had coffee with some guys from Japanese after class again.)
Oh, wanna see what I'm talking about when I mention "working on" a piece by throwing paint at it/subjecting it to the blowtorch?
( Voila, abstract expressionism. )
Oh, did I mention it was beautiful out today?
( Yes, I am singing the U2 song in my head. )

Here's something you don't see every day...
I've just illustrated
oddsbobs' fic Finding, manga-style. Which is interesting, as the fic was based on art. So this is art based on fic based on art. R&R hugely appreciated.

Okay, my Mahoro costume is pretty much done. Some of you have expressed interest in seeing the results.
Well, ( voĆla! )
Now I have to find a few things for Sirius... I'm debating purchasing robes. Does anyone have recommendations for where to find them inexpensively online? I've got slightly under a month before Dragon*Con.

Um, more Dragon*Con news (sorry; I know it's a whole month off): ANDY LEE IS GOING TO BE THERE!!! You may remember Mr Lee from such entries as this one (he's the one who did the paintings on my wall), this one, and this one. Yay.
nyssa and I are excited, to say the least.

Title: A hundred First Kisses
Author: Captain Daisyshine Blackbeard
Pairing: RL/SB
Rating: NC-17
Summary: "Remus had never thought to have another of those perfect missed opportunities, those beginnings with no end." Well, now he does. So he does what he does best: writes.
Disclaimer: I'm just a simple sculptor; it's J.K.'s Play-Doh.
Notes: Based loosely on the first several prompts for
tellmeakiss (I've taken some liberties with the time period), but also on a request from a dear, dear sweet thing by the name of
slian_martreb. Handwritten. (But of course.) Cross-posted a few places. Mea culpa, etc. Also, a bit of art, for your enjoyment. Maybe one of those first kisses?
Dedication: Slian, baby, this one's all for you. Hope it warms you right up.
( Thinking Sirius, his insanely loyal, no-concept-of-personal-space Padfoot, was the traitor, Remus had filed away a hundred bittersweet memories in a locked drawer of the metaphorical filing cabinet of his heart. But now, it's all been turned upside-down: over a decade of misdirected hatred, and suddenly Remus finds himself drowning in fear (of his own emotions, for Sirius' life) and hope (that they will once more be closer than close, that he won't have to be alone). )

Something out of the ol'
embodiment journal...
Note: I believe it is drawn from a picture of a boy and a girl, but, you know, they were pretty androgynous. I of course prefer to think it represents Moony and Padfoot, but in all honesty it could be a boy and a boy, a boy and a girl, or two girls.
Anyhow, "art":
